• Hashem told Shmuel that Eili, Chofni, and Pinchas would soon die.
• Hashem told Shmuel that if anybody heard their ears will burn (ring).
• Hashem told Shmuel that Eilis punishment was just about to begin.
• Shmuel was scared to tell Eili the prophecy of Hashem.
• But Eili argued and said that Shmuel could tell him.
• Eili agreed with what Hashem was going to do.

Pasuk Daled

• Yisroel camped in Evan Haezer and the Pleshtim camped in Aphek.
• In the first battle 4,000 people got killed.
• The smart people in the army wanted to take the Aaron Hashem to war.
• They thought the Aaron Hashem (the ark of god) would help them defeat the Pleshtim.
• Chofni and Pinchas (Eilis sons) stole the Aaron Hashem.
• Once the Aaron Hashem was brought to the war the Pleshtim were terrified.
• The Leaders of the Pleshtim gave them a pep talk and then they went to fight.
• In the second battle Yisroel was defeated.
• 30,000 soldiers died but the Pleshtim won.
• A man came back from the grounds and said that they lost.
• The messenger told Eili 4 things.

1. Yisroel was defeated.
2. A lot of soldiers died.
3. Chofni and Pinchas your sons died.
4. And the Aaron Hashem Was taken.

• When Eili heard that he fell from his chair, broke his neck, and died.
• Pinchas's wife was about to give birth when she heard the bad news.
• Then she gave birth and died.Pinchas's son was named Ecovod which means no honor

Pasuk Hay

• The Pleshtim put the Aaron Hashem with their idol like theres had beaten the Aaron Hashem.
• The next morning their idol the Dagon was bowing to the Aaron Hashem.
• Tons of people from the Pleshtim started dyeing.
• The second morning the Dagons head was cut off and so was its wrist. 
• The Pleshtim started getting worried so they gave th Aaron Hashem to Dan a city nearby.
• The same thing happened to Dan. 
• Then Dan gave the Pleshtim the Aaron Hashem back.
• The Pleshtim didn't want it because they knew what would happen so they gave the Aaron Hashem back.
